By default, all Papertrail accounts show records as 'Due' for the following number of days before it is considered 'Overdue' -

  • Weekly by (specific day) - Displayed as due for 3 days
  • Weekly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 2 days
  • Monthly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 6 days
  • Quarterly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 14 days
  • Half-Yearly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 14 days
  • Yearly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 28 days
  • 2 Yearly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 70 days
  • 3 Yearly inspection frequency - Displayed as Due for 140 days

A 'Due' period begins at 00:01hrs on the first day of the period, so a 'Weekly by Wednesday' frequency enters its 'Due' period at 00:01hrs on a Monday, and a record will go overdue at 23:59hrs on the inspection date.

We can also add a bespoke frequency such as 'None' or 'Daily' if you require them.

Custom Options

If you need to extend or shorten the due period for the next inspection date only you can do this by:

  • Clicking on the record you want to change the due period of
  • In the left hand dialogue box (editable fields) hover over the period shown and the date of that you will be notified will display. To alter the notification date, click on the period shown and the date selector will display for you to chose the date you want to be notified.
  • Once the inspection has been completed and a new next inspection date is allocated the default due period will be applied automatically

We are happy to adjust the periods above for individual accounts, or indeed to add entirely new inspection frequency to your account. Just get in touch.
