If you are a Papertrail reseller, referrer or user cloning a 'template' account may help you set up new accounts easily.

ADDING A 'CLONED' ACCOUNT

If you want to add a perfect copy of an account folder structure to a new subscription or account, all you have to do is log in to your account page and you will see the option to '+ NEW ACCOUNT' - click on this

Use the 'NEW ACCOUNT' dialogue box and choose which 'CLONE AN EXISTING ACCOUNT' and the account you want to use as a template from the list of accounts you have access to.

Once you have chosen which one you need, click on 'CREATE ACCOUNT' and you will get an exact copy of the chosen account. Please remember that this account will only show what you have been given permission to see, if there are folders in an account that you have no access to, they will not be 'cloned' into the new account.

You will now see the newly created cloned account in your log in page along with all the accounts you have been invited to.

THIS ACCOUNT ONLY CONTAINS 16 RECORDS UNTIL YOU CONTACT PAPERTRAIL WITH THE DETAILS SUCH AS:

  • how many records you want in this account
  • what existing subscription it will share the record allocation of or,
  • if it is a going to be a new account, your payment details.

Please also remember, you are now the administrator of this account and need to begin the process of adding new users.
