For accountability purposes, it isn't possible to delete records in Papertrail once an inspection record or a note has been added. These records should be retired instead, so that the records history is archived.
If you want to delete a record which hasn't yet had any inspections added, simply navigate to the record you want to delete, click on the record itself and navigate to the top left hand corner and choose the "ACTIONS" box dropdown. Once this is open you can select the "DELETE RECORD" option (see screenshot)
Once selected, the record will be deleted from your account.
If you want to bulk delete a number of records at once to save time, select the records you want to delete using the tick boxes, then select "DELETE" from the 'actions dropdown'. Again, please remember that a record with notes or inspection logs cannot be deleted - archive it instead
