How to edit an existing folder in the web and mobile app

You can change the name, description and user access settings for an existing folder in your Papertrail account.

Please note - you can only change user access settings for folders using the web application.

Step by step

Once you have logged in, click on the folder you would like to change from the Folders tab on the left hand side. Click the ▼ drop down arrow next to the folder name in the top bar. In the options displayed, click Edit.

In the window that appears you can make your changes to the name, description and user access settings. Admin users will automatically have access to new folders. If you would like to give non-admin members access, tick the box next to their user name. Click Save.

Step by step

From the dashboard, click the Folders tab on the bottom panel and navigate to the folder that you want to edit.

Click on the Three dots icon in the top right corner. Click Manage folder then Edit Folder.

Edit the name and description of the folder. Click Save.
