You can now share certificates directly from your Papertrail account with team members or external clients via email. Once you have created your certificate, navigate to the record activity on the right-hand side within the record. Click on the "i" button next to Created Certificate to open the certificate.
Click the Share button at the bottom next to the download button.
This is where you will enter the email address manually. Click add after typing in your email address, they will be added to your list. You can also remove the email address by clicking on the X next to the email address.
The email received will be similar to the below image. It will include the name, date of the certificate and who sent it. A .pdf version of the certificate will be attached to the email.
You can share the certificate straight after it has been created, clicking the Share button in the top right-hand corner of the certificate view.
The share option is also available any time after generating the certificate, by going to the activity details relating to that certificate. From the dashboard or record history, click into the activity to view the details and then click Share in the top right corner to follow the steps above.
Note: the sharing options (e.g. text, email, Whatsapp, AirDrop etc.) will depend on which other apps you have installed on your device.
