If you are a member of multiple Papertrail accounts (e.g., for different clients, projects, or environments), you can switch between them instantly from your main Dashboard.
This guide explains the simple steps to move seamlessly between any accounts to which you have access.
π‘ Key Concept: The Dashboard Menu
Your Dashboard is the central hub for managing your accounts. When you are added to multiple organisations or accounts, a dedicated menu appears on the Dashboard to handle your switching needs.
Step by Step
Follow these steps to quickly navigate to a different account:
Step 1: Navigate to the Papertrail Dashboard
Log into the Papertrail web application. You should land on your primary Dashboard view. If not Click the Papertrail Logo at the top left of your screen.
Step 2: Select the Target Account
You will see a list of accounts on your subscription. Click on the account name you wish to open.
Step 3: Instant Access
The screen will instantly refresh, bringing you to the Dashboard of the newly selected account. All subsequent actions, like viewing logs, setting up alerts, or checking usage will now be performed within the context of that chosen account.
