Deactivating a Partnership
If you need to end a partnership entirely, you can deactivate the connection. This acts as a "master switch" for data sharing.
Navigate to the Active Tab within PartnerHub.
Locate the partner and click the three-dot icon (⋮).
Select Deactivate Partnership.
Confirm the Action: A message will appear explaining that all records shared with this partner will be unshared.
Note: This process runs in the background. Once confirmed, the partner is moved to the Inactive Tab.
What happens to the data?
Your partner will retain a read-only copy of the records shared up to that point (For their auditing purposes). However, these records will no longer receive updates, and the partner will lose the ability to edit them.
Reactivating a Partnership
If you decide to collaborate again, you can restore the connection from the archives.
Go to the Inactive Partner tab.
Select the relevant account.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Reactivate Partnership.
⚠️ Important: Reactivation does not automatically reshare your records. You must manually select which folders or records you wish to share again to ensure your current privacy preferences are met.
