For accountability purposes, it is only possible to delete records in Papertrail if they do not have any inspection history attached to them.

Please note - records that have inspection or notes added will need to be archived. If you have personal records that need permanently deleting under GDPR, please contact us.

Step by step

Navigate to the record you want to delete and click into it. Click on Actions in the top left-hand corner and then select Delete record. If this is greyed out, your record has inspection or note history so can only be archived.

If you want to delete multiple records at once, select the records you want to delete using the tick box. Click on the ▼ dropdown arrow next to Add X inspections, click Delete.

If you want to delete a record using the mobile app, click into the record and click on the Three Dots icon and choose Delete.

If you want to delete multiple records using the mobile app, navigate to the records you want to delete using the Folder tab on the bottom panel. Select the records you want to delete using the Circle icon to the left of the records and click the Three Dots icon and choose Delete.
