Focus your account and notifications to only the folders that you are responsible for

Papertrail by default makes every folder you have been given access to starred. This means that the records within these folders will be included on your dashboard, filters, notifications and in your weekly digest email.

However, you may not actually be responsible for all these records and want to tidy up your view by unstarring certain folders. The records in these folders will no longer appear in the Filter numbers, in your notifications or in the weekly digest emails.

To unstar a folder that you don't want to receive notifications for, click into the folder, then click on the ▼ dropdown arrow next to the folder name in the top dark blue bar. Choose Unstar in the options.

The little star icon will change from yellow to black.

To star a folder again, follow the steps above but click Star.

Please note - If you unstar a top level folder it will automatically do the same for all sub-folders underneath it. You can navigate to a specific sub-folder to unstar/star it.

By default, Papertrail will display all the folders you have access to. To only view your starred folders in the folder view, click on the starred folders icon in the top right corner.

You can remove this filter by clicking the star icon again to return it to its original state.
