If you want to add a barcode to a piece of equipment, you can do so using the new mobile App as follows.
Log into your account as normal and navigate to the record you want to update and open it up by tapping on the device record and selecting 'View more details >':
then click on the + icon in the top right hand corner of the screen which will reveal the fields you can edit, then select barcode:
The barcode scanner will then automatically open on your device to enable you to scan it directly in to the record:
the app will then automatically allocate the number to the record selected:
Once you have finished, navigate back the Dashboard by either using the Dashboard icon or using the < icon in the top left hand corner of the screen.
Next time you need to identify the item you can scan the barcode to open the record and log any administration or inspection against it.
