You can use any compatible NFC tag with Papertrail. We don't lock you into a specific supplier, giving you the freedom to choose the best solution for your business.
Papertrail is compatible with most standard NFC tags. You can use any tags that support the following formats:

NFCA Technology
IsoDep Technology
(NTAG213, NTAG215, NTAG216)
ICode Slix
Papertrail works with a number of different asset tracking solutions such as barcodes, RFID and NFC. RFID and NFC solutions rely on having a tag, dot, label or microchip either incorporated or attached to your equipment and access to the corresponding reader.
You can buy a selection of NFC tags directly from the official Papertrail Shop.

The easiest way to scan NFC tags is with the inbuilt NFC functionality on a mobile smartphone. You can also use a NFC scanner if required.
