To move a folder around in your Papertrail account, you can use the 'drag and drop' feature.
The best way to show it is via our videos below:
Expand the folder menu by clicking the folder icon on the left hand side of the screen.
There you can click on a folder name to highlight it in white, and drag & drop the folder to a higher or lower position. Make sure you keep it aligned with the left hand side of the folder list.
You can also drag the folder to hover over another folder, slightly to the right of it. Release to nest it under that folder.
A window will appear with the new location of the folder and a button to Confirm move.
Recently released is the ability to move folders in your account using the Papertrail mobile app.
After navigating to the folder that you want to move, click on the ... menu in the top right corner, then select Manage Folder and then Move Folder. A list of the folder structure in your account will appear.
Click on the folder you want to move it under so the name highlights in green (you can click on the account name if you want it to become a top-level folder), then finish by clicking Move in the top right corner.
Use the back arrow or navigation panel at the top of the screen to check out your new folder location.
