If you find you need to amend or update details on an inspection you have carried out you can do this in the Papertrail web app. To start simply navigate to the record view of the piece of equipment you have inspected. Find the last inspection in the activity panel section and click on the pencil icon to reopen the inspection and update it.

You can amend the inspection state, comments, quantity and checklist responses. You cannot currently update any uploads on an inspection.

Once you are happy with your changes simply click save and you will return to the record view where you can view both the original and updated inspection details in the activity panel including what changes were made, when and who made them.

Please note - If you want to add information to a record without changing the inspection frequency or status, you can do this by clicking Add note instead.
